The Central Oregon Visitors Association (COVA) commissioned me to shoot in one of my favorite regions of Oregon. I was excited to experience the pure joy of doing photography. It’s still hard work, getting up at 3 am, or pulling 16 hour days. But I lucky to spend those long hours on glassy alpine lakes and old growth forests.
The goal was to create family adventures, vs extreme adventuring or ‘sit-at-the-pub’ beer crawls that Central Oregon is known for. We spent 3 days chasing sunsets and sunrises. We worked around thunderstorms and downpours, and yes. We drank some great beer!
I’m looking forward to our next campaign. Let’s shoot some snow!
